Radiant Soul Records is an independent record label based on a philosophy that the artists never have to pay out of their pocket. We help artists in Northern California obtain high-quality and fully produced recordings without going through the pay-per-hour studio experience.
Owner/Producer David Warren works with Radiant Soul Artists in his own studio and believes in quality above all else, spending as much time arranging, tracking, writing, re-tracking, mixing, and mastering as needed to ensure that a recording is indeed finished and of the highest quality. This gives upcoming artists the same luxury that typically is enjoyed by major label artists with large recording budgets, but without spending any money out of their pocket. Radiant Soul Artists never have to pay for recording and production, or sign away their song copyrights.
Radiant Soul Records is based on a lifelong love of music and music production. We help artists in various ways whether it be songwriting collaboration, additional instrument performances, arranging, recording, mixing, or producing. And we publish our artists worldwide through the worlds largest publisher, Universal Music Group.
Our studio was designed from the ground up to be an optimum recording space and has been acoustically tuned based on the methods of renown studio designer F. Alton Everest.

Radiant Soul Records was founded by David Warren in January of 2014.
Being a musician since childhood, David began working with multi-track recording equipment in the 80's, starting with a 4-track cassette recorder and then moving through 8-track 1/2" tape and other various recording platforms before arriving at the current technology of virtually unlimited track capability in today's digital audio workstations. Throughout that time, he studied and learned the many tricks and techniques of recording music, mixing, producing and mastering.
After personally designing and building two recording studios, primarily for his own songwriting pursuits and those of his personal friends, David realized that he loved the production aspect of music just as much as the music creation and performance part and started dreaming of using his acquired skills towards the advancement of other artists needing a kick-start in their own musical development.
David has always enjoyed teaching and coached many of his children's sports teams over the years. So it was the love of music, production, and coaching which inspired Radiant Soul Records.
In starting an Indie Label, David wanted to develop a model which removes any out-of-pocket costs from the artists. Most emerging artists don't have a lot of money and limited budget recording sessions tend to produce lower quality outcomes than large budget productions.
David believes that there should never be a clock or money concerns hovering over the creative process, so all artist contracts at Radiant Soul Records are based on a true partnership towards future recording sales.
David's longtime dream of Radiant Soul Records has now been realized and he will continue searching for local Sacramento area artists in the genres of acoustic based Pop, Folk, Country, Blues, and Rock. We hope to one day grow enough that we can help others, not just in the Sacramento area but around the world.
